John had his 2 month appointment this past week! He is 12 lbs. and 24 1/2 inches long; our little string bean. He also had to get his first set of shots; John did better than Mom! The whole family has been busy...Alex was in Atlanta all week for a conference, so I was balancing my 24/7 job with my 2 month old. How exhausting! John is changing every day; Alex was only gone for 4 days and could not believe the difference when he returned. Johnny is starting to get into toys now; he loves his puppy play mat and talks to the toys that hang down. He bounces in his bouncy seat and bats at the little lion on it. He also loves to be read to. His current favorites are:
Are You My Mother?; Brown Bear, Brown Bear; and Marvin K. Mooney. He has been sleeping through the night for about 2 weeks now, and loves to sleep in!
We pulled the Baby Bjorn back out this week. It's his front carrier that comes in handy when he wants to be held for long periods of time. You are supposed to keep the infant faced toward you until they have good neck and head control, and then you can face them outward. He LOVES it; I think Daddy does too.
